The construction of the Islamic Center of Civilization of Uzbekistan’s Dome has 392 panels, making 26-m diameter Main Dome & 50-m diameter Base Dome-Arches using GRP sandwich panel.
Mosaic was applied on top of the FRP sandwich panel with an epoxy-based adhesive. AFI completed the entire manufacturing process in Dubai and shipped the panels in 25 containers to Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2021.
